The Sales Cloud manages customers through the Sales cycle, connecting products to opportunities for a complete view of their order history.
Custom objects were created to connect articles (such as entries in books) to topics (such as Pharmaceuticals). These records are then linked to create a view of the popularity of articles – with a junction object linking contacts to topics to show their interests.
To cater for their international audience, multiple currencies and advanced currency management are being used for opportunities, with Cases to track orders that did not arrive or were damaged etc.
