Job Description

As part of Westbrook’s elite onshore team, the Salesforce Technical Architect is responsible for the end to end technical delivery of a solution using their expert knowledge of the Salesforce platform and the industry experience and best practice developed throughout their career.

Job Overview

The Westbrook Salesforce Technical Architect may act as Solution Architect, bringing to bear a consummate knowledge of the capabilities of the Salesforce platform to design solutions for clients regarding Salesforce and their overall systems’ landscape.
The Westbrook Salesforce Technical Architect will take ownership of designing and future-proofing the system and will contribute to decide on best practices to ensure the security, maintainability and scalability of the solutions she delivers.
A Westbrook Salesforce Technical Architect is a strong communicator (written and oral), reliable, presentable and efficient and is expected to operate equally well individually or within a team. Westbrook prides itself on the quality and capability of its peers to self-manage, taking ownership of the clients business problems and turning these into technical solutions within the allocated budget, supported by an Engagement Manager, Consultants, other Technical Architects and Developers where appropriate.
The Westbrook Salesforce Technical Architect must have proven experience in delivering Salesforce.com implementation projects and be able to advise on the best practice approach in a given situation, identify risks and issues and bring their experience to bear to ensure successful project delivery.
The Westbrook Salesforce Technical Architect will have appropriate industry certifications, and is supported by Westbrook to take ownership of their own personal and professional development plan. It is expected that a Westbrook Salesforce Technical Architect will greatly contribute to, or lead a Westbrook Centre of Excellence, adding value through a specialist capability as well as their core skills. A Salesforce Developer will be highly motivated by solving clients’ business problems, and have the capabilities of CRM, Cloud, and salesforce.com to do so under the oversight of a Westbrook Salesforce Technical Architect.

Job Requirements

Minimum of 10 full lifecycle implementations using either Salesforce Sales, Service and Community cloud. Field Service and CPQ is a plus.
Worked on at least 5 integration projects using a variety of technologies: API, web services, ESB, middleware
Ability to work with consultants, developers, solution architects, and other technical architects where appropriate, design data models, integration interfaces, custom components and deployment pipelines required by the solution and custom functions to a high level of quality and accuracy
Certified Platform Developer I and II, designer and cloud consultant certifications are a plus
Review code developed by colleagues to ensure the following: – The solution is performant and will scale – Coding standards are being followed – Best practice is adhered to
Leads Salesforce project implementation – gather requirements, translate, communicate and document requirements and solutions to technical team
Oversees project lifecycle with demonstrable experience in complex deployments using the Salesforce platform, version control and advanced tooling (Copado, Gearset, Salesforce DX)
Strong understanding of Salesforce concepts and processes such as applications, data, performance, multi-tenancy and security
Ability to work well in a fast paced environment and be a creative, dynamic problem solver
Exceptional communication skills, able to communicate with all relevant teams and stakeholders PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Holds a deep knowledge in a specialist area of the Salesforce platform or related applications that can contribute towards a Centre of Excellence
A cloud evangelist and an active member of the salesforce.com community
