As part of a wider implementation project, Westbrook was required to ensure that information contained within a new Salesforce instance and Jobscience application interacted with existing ‘back-of-house’ SAP software.

This integration ensured users could take advantage of Jobscience’s user friendly functionality immediately, while still updating legacy projects, to avoid switching platform.

Data was passed as XML structures by tailored Salesforce SOAP 2.0 web-service callouts, and managed through a customised ‘integration queue’ object. Logging and monitoring processes were also established, along with control entities, to ensure complete visibility of the ongoing synchronisation communications.
